Mental health is often perceived as a character defect, as a sign of weakness, as a source of shame. What can we learn from our Jewish traditions and modern psychology to change this narrative in our own community? How does spirituality impact our mental health as a community and as individuals?

Come join the Hineni Connecting Team and the Inclusion Committee of Temple Emunah for a morning of learning and hands-on-exploration on this important topic! Special guest speaker Hadassah Margolis, MSW, LICSW, clinical social worker and lead therapist at McLean Hospital’s Spirituality and Mental Health Program, will give a talk and lead an interactive program.

Light refreshments will be served.
