Action for Post-Soviet Jewry (APSJ) presents John Muratore, acclaimed classical & jazz guitarist at a solo performance.

Donations over $35/person are tax-exempt as allowed by law.

John Muratore, has performed as soloist, chamber musician and concerto soloist throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and Russia.  The Boston Globe characterized his playing as “a fleet fingered .. performer .. who could unleash so many different varieties of tone and color.”

 Mr. Muratore is on the faculty of Boston University, Dartmouth College and he coordinated the guitar program at the All Newton Music School.  He has produced several CD’s, available at this performance.

CRISIS IN UKRAINE

 This performance benefits Jewish communities in Ukraine served by Action for Post-Soviet Jewry’s Adopt-a-Bubbe and Zayde program.

 APSJ provides much needed nourishing food for 1,000 clients in more than a dozen cities in Ukraine.  The frozen war in Ukraine resulted in a vastly devalued currency, driving many people into poverty, especially pensioners on fixed incomes.
