Please come join us for traditional Yom Kippur services at BU, led by Rabbi Yehuda Witt, OU-JLIC Rabbi & Educator. All services are Orthodox and will take place on the second floor of the Hillel building.

Friday, September 29
6:00 p.m.: Kol Nidre

Saturday, September 30
8:30 a.m. – approximately 1:30 p.m.: Morning service
Yizkor at approximately 11 a.m.
4:30 p.m.: Afternoon services (Traditional Mechitza): Mincha & Ne’ilah

Yehuda Rachamim Witt was born into Jewish outreach in a large family (the 6th of 14 children) in Jerusalem. Yehuda has studied at Yeshivat Heichal HaTora, in Tekoa with Rav Froman as well as being in the founding cohort of students at Meor Modiin. He studied education at David Yellin College in Jerusalem. Yehuda was part of the faculty at the Yeshivat Simchat Shlomo smicha program. Simultaneously he pursued his own semicha under Rav Riskin as well as participating in the Straus-Amiel Practical Rabbinics Program and the George Weinstein Institute for Semicha and Pedagogy. Yehuda has taught extensively throughout Israel and New York, been an educator for The Maccabiah and is a sought after private Gemara instructor. He also has vast experience outside the Torah world, working as a chef, kashrut consultant, and mashgiach. Yehuda is passionate about sharing Judaism, both the traditional canon as well the richness of its cultural traditions such as Jewish food, storytelling and music/niggunim. Email Yehuda at
